We are proud to announce that iController has been nominated as Trends Gazelle 2022 for the province of East Flanders in Belgium. This is the first nomination for iController.
Each year, the economic weekly Trends Magazine searches for the strongest growing enterprises among more than one million companies in Belgium. To do so it examines performance over the past five financial years to see if there is strong growth in added value, cash flow and personnel.
This leaves 250 companies per province, which are then classified into small enterprises (50 companies), medium-sized enterprises (100 companies) and large enterprises (100 companies) based on their added value.
First nomination as Trends Gazelle
iController is now one of the hundred nominees for East Flanders in the category medium-sized enterprises, i.e. companies with an added value of between 1 million euros and 5 million euros.
For iController it is the first nomination and in a sense the confirmation of the rapid growth that we have been experiencing as a company for a number of years. Last year, the consulting company Deloitte already nominated iController for the Technology Fast 50, a ranking of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in Belgium.
Going global
Those growth figures did not escape the attention of the American company, Billtrust, either. Since October 2021, iController has been part of this market leader in debt management automation and integrated payments.
iController’s ambitions are not confined to Belgium and the Netherlands. This year, branches were established in Germany and the United Kingdom. Meanwhile, the company has expanded to almost 50 employees, most of whom are active at the headquarters in Ghent.
IController’s client list not only includes reputable brands such as Leaseplan, Kinepolis, KBC, H.Essers, PSA Groupe, BDO and Dockx Rental, but also equally big players in B2B and the public sector.
Today, iController is active in more than 60 countries worldwide, with a very strong presence in Europe. Thanks to its acquisition by Billtrust, iController can now further expand its global footprint.
